Conor and Lindsey Engaged!

San Francisco is the perfect background for engagement photos! Conor, Lindsey and I had the best time cruising around the city to all their favorite spots snapping some fun photos! These two were so much fun and full of laughs! They are high school sweet hearts and it clearly shows they are perfect for each other! I am so excited for the two of them to be tying the knot and starting their lives together! I was so happy and honored to take these engagement photos as I know it is such a special time for the two of them. You are both so special to me and I wish you all the very very best!!! XO

Baby Dominic Growing Up!

This little guy is just the most precious! Dominic is growing up so fast so Mama Nathalee thought it would be fun to capture a few more memories at 4 months. We did a mini photo shoot when he was just 8 days old, so this was a fun addition! (Check out the newborn pics here!) Mama Nathalee is so lucky to have such a wonderful little man :) Thanks Baby Dom for being the cute little guy that you are! XO

A Christening...

A Christening is such a special time for a little one, something they may not even remember because they are so tiny ;) I loved capturing these moments of Luca and Savanna so they can look back on these amazing family moments and know how blessed and lucky they are! You two little ladies are just adorable, lovely and perfect! XO

I was lucky enough to capture some newborn moments with these two little munchkins. They are so darn cute and were only 10 days old when we did this mini photo shoot! They stayed awake the entire photo shoot which was totally amazing, I am sure they passed out right after ;) Thank you precious babies for being so wonderful and taking such fun/amazing pictures! XO

Rancho Yerba Buena

A few weeks ago I was asked to photograph the Yerba Buena Ranch 100th Anniversary Party! It was amazing and wonderful as you can imagine... It was a beautiful celebration that included everything from the farm animals to children running wild, food, drink and of course dancing! A fantastic way to spend the evening!

Here is a bit of ranch history...

In 1833, Racho Yerba Buena, one of the original California Spanish land grants, was deeded to Don Antonio Chaboya. At the time, the Rancho covered 24,343 acres of east Santa Clara County foothills. The house was built in 1865 on mud sills using timbers brought around the horn on a sailing ship. In 1875 Henry Pierce acquired 2,400 acres of the land, including the Grant's headquarters which kept the original title, Yerba Buena, meaning "good herb." In those days, tenant farmers grew peas, corn and dry beans on hillsides, and Mr. Pierce raised dairy cows.

In 1910, bachelor Albert Charles Kuhn purchased the Ranch from the Pierce family. He remodeled the house, landscaped the grounds, and ran beef cattle on the verdant hills. Upon his death he willed the Ranch to his youngest brother, Charles John Kuhn, who later married and had two sons. In 1950 the elder of these two sons married and had two daughters. Peggy has since taken over the ranch after her father past away and has been running it since 1985!

Congratulations to 100 successful years at Rancho Yerba Buena!
