What an amazing day for two very amazing people! Amy and Nathan had the most beautiful wedding at the Forest House Lodge in Forest Hill! The day was filled with excitement and laughter from the bridal suite to the ceremony and onto the reception. Everything about the day was beautiful down to the last detail (making it very hard to limit the photos I posted ;) ) The ceremony location was stunning looking out over the mountains, made only better by the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time :) (One of my favorite parts!)

Whitney Alyssa Accessories... |Bay Area Wedding Photographer

Ok Brides!!! I am so excited to share some amazing pieces from Whitney Alyssa! We had the best photo session on such a beautiful afternoon (and Brooke, the model, did a fabulous job! And yes... her hair is natural! Jealous!!!) Whitney's bridal hair accessories are SO amazing and beautiful! These hand crafted pieces are one of a kind and are certain to make you look and feel special on your big day!

Here are some tid-bits about the actual pieces...

"All the beaded flowers were handmade by me using rocaille and delicas seed beads. I strand each bead on wire to create the petals, which I then put together to make the flowers.  I also use a variety of other materials such as french netting, feathers, and tulle to incorporate into the headpieces.  I will soon be making more options in color, but the great thing about these is that they can be custom made for you.  I can make any flower in any of the beads, change the color - make them bigger or smaller."

I am so excited to share photos from Amy and Nathan's beautiful wedding in Grass Valley! I had the most wonderful time shooting for Lindsey Stafford who asked me to be her "wingwoman"! OMG!!! "Baby" Dom is all grown up! (Well, relatively speaking ;) ) I have been photographing this little munchkin for his first year of life and I cannot believe he is already 12 months! Julie and Gal... |Bay Area Wedding Photographer

A few weeks ago I had the privilege to snap some fun photos of Julie and Gal for their engagement session! We had a blast hiking Castle Rock where there were some amazing views of the Santa Cruz mountains and the Pacific Ocean! It was just beautiful! I am so excited to capture their special day in August!

My New Obsession!

For most of my photo shoots I carry around this huge backpack that weighs 1,000 lbs (ok, not that much, but a lot!) and I am the first to admit that it gets heavy (obviously) and I don't always want to carry it, especially if I am just going to the park with my son and want to just get a few photos of him! So, I was on the hunt for a fun/cute/practical camera bag and finally found one :) One of my friends actually bought it for me for my birthday and I could not be happier or more obsessed! It is perfect! It is enough for one camera body and a few lens options! Just what I need for a day at the park or a family outing!
