Alli and Billy!

I love engagements and I love weddings, such a special time for the bride and groom! I was so honored/happy/ecstatic when Alli and Billy decided I would be their wedding photographer! We thought it would be fun to get out and take some fun engagement photos around San Francisco's Chrissy Field... it was such a beautiful day! These two were great and so natural in front on the camera which made it very easy and fun for me ;) Thank you both so much for being so great/darling and wonderful! Looking forward to the wedding! XO

Baby Elizabeth...

I just have to share these pictures I took on our most recent trip to visit my family out in Colorado... The last time I saw baby Elizabeth was at Christmas as she was only 3 months old, she is such a big girl now! Just darling!

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been busy, busy, busy these last few weeks... I am finally getting a little break to update the blog, read my favorite blogs (you know, the usual... Perez Hilton, Ohdeedoh, Rebekah Westover, Mommy Beta and Lindsey Stafford are just a few of my go to) and share some fun photos and events with you. Here is a little preview of what to come over the next week...

One of my favorite couples, Alli and Billy are engaged and getting married in August! I am photographing the wedding and we thought it would be fun to escape to San Francisco for a fun engagement photo shoot! They are not only darling and all smiles but two of the funniest people I have met! We had a blast!

I was also invited to photograph a very special event down in San Jose, the 100 year Celebration of Rancho Yerba Buena! This ranch is beautiful, amazing and a little piece of relaxation away from reality (unless you are one of the ranch hands). You would never know this place exists right off of 101 as you are heading south!

And finally, another project I have been working on... The Babies. These two little twin peanuts were born just two weeks ago and I was lucky enough to capture some of their early moments! Newborns are just so small and tiny and precious... I want more! :)

Siblings...

Haldey and Braden are just about as cute as they come! These two really do love each other so much and it was so cute to watch the two of them interact, it was all hugs and snuggles. We had a great little photo shoot at Holbrook-Palmer Park in Menlo Park. I managed to bribe them the entire time with gummy bears (a secret trick that works like a charm!) and they were loving every second of it! Thank you guys for being so great and making it such an easy photo shoot! You two could be professionals! ;)

Hanging with The Girls...

These 3 sisters are darling! I went over to their house for a mini photo shoot and we had the best time playing dress up, sipping tea and of course talking about our favorite princesses! (I have a boy so this was a whole new ball game for me... an amazing ball game ;) ) We spent the whole afternoon in the backyard and captured some great moments! Thank you girls for not only being darling and cute but for being so wonderful in front of the camera! Enjoy!

Melissa Graduates!

This weekend I had the pleasure of traveling down to Claremont McKenna College in Claremont to photograph a major milestone in Melissa's life, her college graduation! In just 4 years she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Religious Studies with a Leadership Sequence, what an accomplishment! We are all so proud of her! Congratulations Melissa, You did it!

Jackson

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to capture some great photos of Jackson. He is so darling, has the cutest smile, and seriously the best eyes! Watch out ladies ;)

A Fun Project

On a random note that does not have much to do with photography, other than I took pictures... Here is a fun project for your toddler. My sister's birthday is this weekend and I realized we had no wrapping paper and the thought of getting to the store to buy some seemed impossible, so Conor came up with the idea of making his own ;)

1.) Cut up paper bags to create the size of "wrapping paper" you will need. In this case I needed to use 2 bags so I taped them together.

2.) Wrap your gift.. Seems easy enough :)

3.) Pull out all the crafting items you may need. We used paint, stamps, and stickers.

4.) Let them go to town on the box! He had a blast! (Please ignore the outfit, this was post nap and he refused to change...)

5.) Finish off your gift with a nice big bow :) Happy Birthday Auntie Melly!!!
