Working On...

Because it is Saturday, and my "office" (i.e. house) is finally quiet I am taking full advantage to get some major editing done! (and I am totally enjoying every second of it!) I am working on a session I did last week with Miss Amelia (who you might remember here) and her new baby sister Audrey!

PS... I love how serious Amelia is in this photo, because she was NOT like that at all during the session!

For Photographers... or Anyone with a Camera

I follow a few different photography blogs and one of my favorites is Paint The Moon Photography! Annie (the creator, you can follow her personal blog, Oh My Stars, which I think is so fun!) has some great Photoshop Actions and Templates and tons of "Freebies" that are always fun to play around with! Right now she is running a fun project called "Lets Do Project 52." Basically take a photo a week using one of the themes she suggests! It is a fun way for us photographers to learn from each other, stay inspired and to keep clicking!

My "Baby" Turns 3!...

Over the holidays my "baby" turned 3! And what better way to spend a birthday than in Colorado with cousins and "Colorado Grandma" (seriously, that is what he calls her! It is seriously the funniest thing you have ever heard!... We would all be sitting around the evening fire, and all of a sudden Conor would say, "Hey, Colorado Grandma, I have a question..." He is always good for a laugh!) Here are some fun photos of our time with cousins in beautiful Colorado!

A while ago I did a maternity session and I wanted to save the photos to share once the little man, Oliver was here! Big Brother James did an awesome job during the maternity session with his Mama which created so fun special moments!
Once Oliver arrived, he was just so precious to photograph! I was surprised to see he would even crack a smile here and there ;) Talk about just melting my heart!!! Thank you Mr. Oliver for doing such a wonderful job in front of the camera and making my job so easy! You are too cute and cuddly for words! XO

Meet Liv and Bear, 2 darling kiddos that were hilarious to photograph! Barett for sure had a mind of his own during this photo session at Rancho Yerba Buena; he thought the animals were awesome and that throwing "cow pies" (you know what those are, right?!) was the best thing he had ever done! Olivia was a fantastic older sister and made sure Barett was posing how he should be... most of the time ;)
Big Thanks you guys for doing such an awesome job and reminding me why I love what I do! You kids were wonderful! XO

Jaxn and Lucas... |Bay Area Children's Photographer

Meet two more darling boys, Jaxn and Lucas who were so fun and cute to photograph! Jaxn showed me some amazing Kung Fu moves, and told me all about sharks while Lucas played and sat with his Mama. All in all it was a fun day of photographing some fun/wonderful kiddos!

For Fun!...

Ok... so one of my girlfriends showed me this blog: The Pregnant Chicken, Keeping Pregnancy Sunny Side Up, and as a mother and photographer I have to say it is one of the funniest/best blogs I have read in a long time! Hilarious, laugh out loud stuff.

My favorite post of hers is Awkward Pregnancy Photos... It puts my work to shame ;)

Ava, Chase and Lea!... |Bay Area Children's Photographer

There is just something so special about a new baby girl and her big sister... Ava was so fun to photograph with her new baby sister Lea! Ava made sure Lea was taken care of the entire time and even threw out a few suggestions for snapping some good pics (I just loved it!!!) Chase had a blast throwing leafs and playing outside which made it totally fun for me :) All in all another amazing/fun photo session with totally darling kiddos! I am so lucky to photograph such great kids! Thanks you guys! XO
